Featured Project: Holiday Inn Express, Verona, WI
The new Holiday Inn Express in Verona, WI is the area's first to incorporate the brand's newest and highest design standards. It has become a showplace for the Midwest Region.
The first floor features a grand Porte Cochere covered main entrance, opening up into a spectacular lobby and seating area, complete with a custom water feature created by Bluworld of Florida. The elegant reception area includes offices, workspaces, storage, a break room and laundry.
Beyond the main corridor you will find the breakfast area, featuring a cultured stone fireplace, and the food preparation area, strikingly bordered by a wall of rain glass. The main floor also contains a multi-use meeting room that seats up to 100, a state-of-the-art fitness center and a business center. In addition to guest rooms and suites, the main floor also features a beautiful pool and whirlpool area filled with natural light.
The second and third floors are composed of single and double guest rooms and suites. Some suites feature in-room whirlpools and private in-room kitchenettes. Ceramic tub surrounds and granite countertops add to the upscale design.
The project began in October 2007 and was completed in May 2008 for a total cost of $8.1 million. Architectural services were provided by ARC Design. Dimension IV-Madison served as Interior Designer and Fischl Construction Corporation built the facility in cooperation with many dedicated and skilled subcontractors.
